BIO

Born and raised in New Rochelle, New York, Angela’s love for creating has always been apparent, from her first masterpiece at the age of three to her hit book series, popular amongst the children at church. It wasn’t until she discovered theatre that she truly came into her own.

She graduated from Boston University in May of 2021 with a BFA in Stage Management and a Concentration in Performance/Directing.

Angela hopes to work on bold, fresh, and inspiring projects that invite interaction with the community or inspire action. She also wishes to work in a wide variety of entertainment, ranging from theatre to podcasting to live events.

PHILOSOPHY

As a stage manager, I believe that I am an artist and collaborator in the process, and with that comes finding the balance between speaking, leading, and listening. I aim to ensure that the environment is welcoming and safe for everyone involved in order to foster a space where everyone is free to focus on the creative process. It is one of my primary beliefs that people come first. When looking back at a process, I want my fellow collaborators to feel that they were supported, artistically and individually, and that they were valued members. Ultimately, I believe that making art should be fun, and I look for the little ways to bring that into the room, whether it is through coordinating tech week outfits with my team or bringing in homemade food.
